Firstly, Aavegotchis are NFTs staked with DeFi-enabled ERC20 tokens powered by Aave, known as aTokens. That means, you are not only getting an interest from your staked tokens and also a “blockchain Tamagochi”. ( How cool will that be , huh? )
Secondly, like shown in the picture, each Aavegotchi possesses Spirit Force (Aave-backed ERC20 tokens, or “aTokens”), Wearables and Traits, which determine its rarity and overall value. And you can interact with your aavegotchi to get a higher kinship, play mini-games or vote in the DAO to level up your “child”.
Thirdly, once getting tired of your wearables or even your own aavegotchi, you are able to sell them, and of course, you can buy the ones you want!
So, the three features mentioned above make me believe that Aavegotchi has a big chance to be a star NFT project. It perfectly combines your crypto assets with an “on-chain pet”, where also shows your taste and character by the aavegotchi you create. The rarity level and tradable wearables will motivate people to use it more often.
